• Board Members

Rittenhouse Sound's governing body is comprised completely of volunteers from within our membership who possess an abiding passion for music and vocal harmony, providing leadership and guidance to support the chorus. Appointed through an annual election process, the Board of Directors is responsible for all organizational functions of the chapter and every active member of the chorus is invited and encouraged to participate.

    Mike Anderson

Engineer by day and barbershopper by (Tuesday) night, Mike has been singing lead with Rittenhouse Sound since 2017. When he's not singing, Mike can found watching college basketball and cheering on his alma mater. Let's go Nova!

    Aaron Pollock

    Vice President of Membership

Aaron started singing barbershop in Junior High and has held a continued affinity for barbershop music throughout his singing career, becoming a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society in 2014. He has been singing bass with Rittenhouse Sound since 2015 and has served as VP of Membership for the chorus since 2019.

    Bret Noël

Vice President of Marketing & Communications

Bret is new to singing barbershop, having recently joined Rittenhouse Sound in 2019 after moving to Philly from Southern California with his wife. He holds a master's degree in horn performance, but tends to spend more time singing bass and pretending that if he sings low enough, people won't hear him vocalizing in public.

    Khoi Ngo

Vice President of Programming and Events

Khoi started singing in middle school and continued throughout high school and college (where he also met his fiancé!). He joined Rittenhouse Sound in 2018 and sings lead. Outside of the chorus, Khoi is a part-time graduate student, full-time mental health and substance abuse professional. In his free time, he enjoys binge-watching movies and tv shows with his fiancé--who also sings barbershop and is a member of Jersey Sound, an all-female chorus--and hanging out with their seven chickens, six cats, and three dogs (and, hopefully sooner rather than later, goats and ducks!).
